Somedays everything is stormy, so many loved ones write with troubles, and your work isn’t falling into place.
Why don’t you play a game with passing storms? Outlast crises by centering yourself in an activity that takes you to your Unwavering Self. The activity could be dance, song, lovemaking, walking in nature, writing, meditation, or prayer. Find solace in a Higher Self who has never failed you; this is the cave to go to when surroundings are stormy.
Troubles come and go like weather; I have listened to very concerned friends and next day they write back with big smiles on their cheeks, as if yesterday didn’t exist! They weren’t lying yesterday; they just didn’t believe that this too shall pass. You are the captain of your glorious, little boat; and the heart of The Captain needs hope when there are no islands in sight.
Never shrink your vision of life when hope is crumbling; breathe in, visualizing a Mightier Self and hold good expectations of life—feel these, taste them, smile at them. Constantly remind yourself of all the big challenges that you’ve met. It was always you, the essence that you carry inside, that led you out of dark horizons, and onto brighter ones.
With troubles looming, take your mind and your breath deep inside to a Mighty Self who is untouched and rather “philosophical” about “this too shall pass.”
Ultimately, the world cannot hurt you, only you can..
God Speed,
