Love is ecstasy because in love you lose yourself, and in all such things as music, dance, and lovemaking, the self is lost to ecstasy.

The ego can never love; because loss of “self” is such a huge gamble. Love is wild and uncontrollable, and in love, you must face your vulnerability. If love did not make you drunk, how could you smile in vulnerability?
Before you enter, do you dare drop your baggage at the gates of love?
To enter love, you must come clean with your obsessions, addictions, jealousies, judgement, and guilt; if not, you will hurt your beloved.
And how to transcend distraction and temptation? The five senses would do anything for pleasure and variety; to love and to commit, demands courage to see through the glitter of the candy store.
